I provide individual instruction in a private and comfortable office especially set up for Spanish tutorials. I also offer instruction to small groups of people who already know each other (partners, friends or co-workers) and prefer to take lessons as a group. My office is located in a central convenient location in San Francisco. I am also available for instruction at or near your workplace or home. I present tutorials for every level (Beginners / Intermediate / Advanced). The classes are customized and tailored to fit your needs For people who already know some Spanish, it is always recommended to expand vocabulary through practice such as conversation as well as reading newspapers and magazines articles. The classes also include the essentials of grammar, verbs, vocabulary, writing and pronunciation. I supply printed material at the sessions. I sell recommended books, textbooks and workbooks to learn Spanish. Students determine assignments. Private lessons can be arranged at your convenience to meet your schedule:

The discount packages and basic rates for sessions at my location are as follows: Basic (1 session) $ 35 (**)
Package A (advance purchase of 10 sessions) $ 330
Package B (advance purchase of 20 sessions) $ 620
Package C (advance purchase of 30 sessions) $ 900All advance purchases are not refundable, except when a cancellation occurs within 7 days of the purchase date. In this case, 50 % from your payment will be deducted and the difference will be reimbursed to your account or a minimum of $ 50 will be deducted from your payment as a cancellation fee only if your cancellation takes place the same day of your purchase.
The discount packages are also available for sessions at your location. Supplemental fee applies (*)
* A $ 20 or $ 30 per visit supplement applies to sessions at your home or office
The amount to apply will be determined based on the distance-time that I have to travel to you ... I will waive or reduce this supplemental charge for locations within several blocks of my office.
Scheduling Notes (**)
After 2 or 3 pay-as-you-go sessions, students are expected to purchase any of the various discount packages available.
Lesson materials are sent by email to students that have purchased any of the discount packages.
Once a class is scheduled, the student is charged for the session, whether or not he/she can make the session, unless he/she cancels the session with 24 hours notice.
I may waive this rule on a case-by-case basis. I am less likely to waive the rule for sessions scheduled during the high demand hours.
Windows 98 and XP PCs are available during the sessions with special Spanish language software.
